Resources on the Rococo
The Rococo is brief period of artistic formation from the end of the 17th century through the early 18th century that reflected a period of accumulation of wealth by landed interests in Western Europe. With their accrual of massive formations and new landed estates elites and large landowners became consumers of art and architecture.
